The Christian life cannot be reduced to a man-made list of things to do and not to do.

However, when God gives a specific list in Scripture, we must take careful note of His priorities.

Today we examined the Lord's to-do list found in 1st Thessalonians chapter 5.

Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.

That's what the psalmist said, and I think it's an accurate representation of the great lesson we're learning in 1st Thessalonians chapter 5 today.

Did you know that our God is a God of oneness and that he loves unity among his people?

Did you know that the devil is the exact opposite of our God and the devil seeks to divide and

disrupt and to bring dissension and discord?

We've come in our study of this Lord's to-do list in 1st Thalonians chapter 5 to these verses beginning in verse 9 we read
