On a more serious note, how was it with your family? Did you have a good time?

Did anybody have to overcome any homophobia or transphobia or similar this Christmas?

I've jumped straight into the serious stuff, huh?

I'm sitting in my office.

I'm not on a walk because I've got the whole family here.

So I'm doing a quick recording with you all, because I

simply had to say hello. I had a lovely Christmas. It was kids, it was dogs, it was family,

it was chaos in the most wonderful version.

And we, William and I decided on the day, William being the husband, that he would just do all the cooking and I would do all the other stuff.

And it was actually a really good division of labour.

He was very happy about it and

he absolutely smashed it and I have to say Yota-Mottolengi's Christmas special that came out

on Christmas Day, everyone who hasn't listened to it yet, have a listen. It's such a lovely

episode. Loads of your stories basically about your Christmases and your chosen family Christmases and all of that. But what I found super helpful was Yottam's thing about just doing as much as you can the day before. So we did, we did do most of it the day before. I mean, the only thing you can't do the day before is the turkey, really, but we prepped all the veg. It's loads of veg, isn't it? And, like, made all the stuffings and stuff. And my mum, and William's mum came, and my mum had to make her stuffing. She'd made a red cabbage. William's mom made a bit of Christmas cake. And everyone did loads of stuff that they all brought with them. So it was really lovely.
