So it really takes you into far deeper levels of your consciousness.

So we have different layers of consciousness.

When you go to sleep at night you really aren't aware of

sleeping and so you're in a sleep state and that's what yoga nidva takes you

into it's a state that is so similar.

In fact, I have a lot of students,

because I still teach classes in it,

who say, gee, I felt like I fell asleep.

And yet I saw they were responding to guidance

that I was giving.

You know, we would do a moudra, and they would do the moudra.

And so it was just that they were in such a deep level of their consciousness and by

approaching those deeper levels that's really the place where we restore

renew revitalize, even regenerate.

It's really holding on to that prana,

that vital life force energy that opens all the channels

and the radians and really activates healing.
