Summary

In this episode, Rachel is immersed in leading her third yoga teacher training while Luna is with grandma and Dennis is at an Iron Man race.  Rachel reminisces on all the programs she has led since Luna was born, from the ones that were super overwhelming while breastfeeding to the ones that are easier now that Luna is older. Rachel is used to hosting large groups, but it was having a baby that made her realize she has a deep desire to merge her community with her family life and be more accepting and supportive of families as a whole. This idea was challenged recently when she shared a post of Luna laughing in the group of teacher trainees and received incredible backlash for allowing her daughter to join the circle. This leads her into a deep conversation on social media drama, her own triggers and the epidemic of judgement that exists especially for mothers. Disagreements are part of life, but the next time you find yourself disagreeing with someone can you bring more compassion and understanding into the discussion? Can you sit with what triggers you and separate your feelings from the actions of others? At the end of the day, we are all more similar than we are different. The small actions of support you can offer to others matter more than you think. you can count on, someone who actually cares about what you think. I just want someone

0:12.5

who's ready for that long-term kind of love. Whether you're looking for your next boyfriend,

girlfriend, casual date or just someone who truly getscha, it's waiting for you unbumble.

Hi and welcome to another episode of From the Heart Conversations with Yoga Girl. It is

0:36.9

officially really forking late at night and today is Halloween! Okay, I am all alone in

0:48.8

my bedroom right now. I have a really annoying Italian greyhound walking around the bed,

0:54.7

who just refuses to lay down. I don't know why. And a sleeping baby in the other room and a

1:02.4

grandma upstairs, no husband at home. It's like, I'm gonna check. It's 11 p.m. I have worked a 13-hour

1:10.3

day and I have no idea if this podcast is gonna turn into anything of substance, but yeah, that's where I am at.

Oh man, you guys, you guys, you guys, holy shit. Happy Halloween, everyone. I hope you've had a really fun Halloween

1:28.8

week. Honestly, for me personally, Halloween has never been like a big holiday. It's not something that we

1:34.2

are really big on in Swedish culture. Also here in Aruba, a Halloween is not a huge thing. I know it's a

1:40.3

big American holiday and plenty of the other countries in the world celebrate big. But this year was the first

1:47.0

year since we had the baby that we were able to kind of dress the baby up. And there was this Halloween

1:53.3

thing, like a little party happening at her daycare where all the kids stressed up and all the parents

1:58.8

brought different kinds of snacks and stuff. And I don't know, we just had kind of a day within the

2:05.4

family that felt really grown up somehow, bringing snacks and juice and like preparing stuff to bring

2:13.3

for the whole group. Like that felt like something that I would remember my mom doing for me and

2:18.5

my brother when we were little. I felt like a big deal. And like dressing the baby up in a costume

2:25.3

and then going to daycare was super super super fun. And thank God I have my mom here in Aruba right

2:32.2

now. I am like arts and crafts stuff is to me, it's like, I don't know, Greek. Like it's like this,
