Yo, yo, yo, today's podcast guest, Sam, the big unit long.

Like, it's his catchphrase.

I'll pay him the license fees.

Okay, okay, good.

So Sam Long, one of the most prolific podcast guests that we have had, we got Sam on,

as you'll hear, very, very early on in his endurance career when he had some

really big dreams, really big goals, and I don't know if he's surpassed all of them or

if he's just meeting them at a rate that is astonishing to me.

Sam has become very fast.

He's become one of the most well-known pros these days because of his

huge personality. But man's got speed. He's got a lot of speed, a lot of power. And it's been

really fun to, we said this the last time in podcast number two, that it's been fun to watch Sam grow up.

Because he started out, you know, as a 20 year old when we really first met him, he was

young.

He was kind of as much party as he was triathlon.

And now it's very, very serious for him, but still having fun, clearly.

And we're chatting to him just a couple of days after he won Ironman Cordillane.

And what I'm seeing from Sam is that every single year, he is progressing at a rate that is as

quick as you would expect from somebody very early in their triathlon journey.

And it's really cool to watch because at some point, I've said this to him personally,

like, I just keep waiting for you to plateau.
