Hello, I'm Sean Curran, and this is yesterday in Parliament from BBC Radio 4.

On Wednesday, the 29th of April, Parliament was formally paroched,

ahead of next week's elections in England, Wales and Scotland.

But before MPs left Westminster,

there was just time for a final session of Prime Minister's questions.

There was an end of term feel to this week's Prime Minister's questions.

Labour MPs gave Sarkier Stama and the Chancellor Rachel Reeves a noisy welcome

as they entered the chamber and took their seats for the final set of exchanges

before this session of Parliament, which began in July 24 in the wake of the general election,

closed with a ceremony in the House of Lords.

The Prime Minister was in a reflective mood.

In this session of Parliament, this Labour Government has delivered

the biggest upgrade in workers' rights in a generation,

the biggest improvement in renter's rights in a generation,

and more action than any other government to tackle child poverty.

The King's speech, I look forward to setting out what more we will do to change our country for the better.

The King's speech will be on Wednesday the 13th of May.

Before that, there is the not-so-small matter of the biggest set of elections since the general election.

Millions of people in England, Scotland and Wales will get the chance to vote next week.

We come to the leader of the opposition, Camillebitton.

And the Conservative leader was less impressed with the Prime Minister's record.
