Hello, I'm Sean Curran, and this is yesterday in Parliament from Radio 4.

Now, the Commons Chamber has often been described as a bear pit,

0:13.5

but on Friday the 4th of July, after a bruising few days,

0:17.8

marked by U-turns, a rebellion and a rowdy session of PMQs, MPs finally found an issue

1:39.7

movement and requiring the movement of a pet to be explicitly linked to that of its owner.

1:45.0

This will fundamentally disrupt the tactics we know a legal trader's employed to avoid more stringent checks and oversight.
