Summary

After facing a lifetime of abuse and instability. 15-year-old Yasmin Acree had managed to become a bright, athletic student at Chicago’s Austin Polytechnical Academy. She was getting ready to start her first job, and her life was on an upward trajectory. On January 15, 2008. Yasmin went to sleep planning to attend school the next morning. But when dawn broke on January 16, there were signs of forced entry into her basement room, and Yasmin was gone.

Despite the worrisome circumstances behind her disappearance, police initially classified Yasmin as a runaway, and key evidence was overlooked. Evidence that included a felon who had taken a particular interest in the young girl. Now, after enduring more tragedy, Yasmin’s family is still begging the Chicago Police to help them find answers in Yasmin’s disappearance.

Anyone with information on the disappearance of Yasmin Acree is asked to contact Chicago Police at (312) 744-8266, or the FBI. There is a $10,000 reward in this case.

Cualquier persona que tenga información sobre la desaparición de Yasmin Acree debe comunicarse con la policía de Chicago al (312) 744-8266 o con el FBI. En este caso hay una recompensa de 10.000 dólares.
