Welcome to the Bronx Pinsripe Show. Today's special episode, I did a crossover podcast with the Dodgerhead's podcast, Jeff, who was also, we did a crossover back when the Yankees played the Dodgers in early June. If you remember, Soto was out for that series. So Yankees ended up losing that series, but we did that

pod right beforehand. And he actually predicted Hernandez to have a good series, and he killed the

Yankees that weekend. So hopefully his prediction, which you will hear later in this pod, does not

come true this time because we can all guess what Jeff, what team Jeff is picking

for the World Series. But this is really fun. Jeff's a great guy. A lot of good insights on the Dodgers

and their run to the World Series and how the thing I was really curious about is like how

they're going to line up their pitching because I think if there's one edge, the Yankees actually

do have it's in starting pitching, but the

Dodgers bullpen has been pitching really well this whole postseason run, and they are probably

going to be doing a bullpen game. So really good insights from him on how the Dodgers are going to

not only line up their pitching, but also how their lineup is going to be in sort of the X-f factor of Freddie Freeman, if he's going to be healthy or not. I mean, he's going to

play if the World Series, that's obvious. But if he's not 100%, I think that can be a huge

X factor for the Yankees. Scott and I will be doing our own preview episode where we might

dive into some more numbers for the Yankees

and just also maybe have some roster news. We're going to be doing this on Thursday. So

hopefully the Yankees have announced a roster. At least we have confirmation of guys if they're

added or not to the roster. I know Nestor Cortez is one guy that we're keeping an eye on.

But hopefully we have that ready for when Scott and I do our pod on Thursday.
