What's up everybody?

Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show. Our second World Series preview episode of the week. I did one with Dodgerhead's podcast on, like, recorded it Tuesday afternoon. It went up Wednesday on both of our channels. But I feel like, Scott, it's been 84 years since the Yankees last played a baseball game. This is a weird week off before the World Series, and I get that they had to have scheduling

involved and stuff, and there was that whole thing where if both series ended in five,

which meant both teams would have been done by Saturday, they would have started it earlier.

But like, both teams were done by Sunday, so why couldn't they have started it on Wednesday or at least on Thursday, which is today the day we're recording it, just feels like a long time since they last played. It does feel like a long time. And then you just have a lot of the games lined up for the middle of the week, too, whereas, you know, some of the beginning games would have been, you know, some of the middle games would have been, would have been, they could have flown back by, by Sunday night, probably.

L.A. gets the, the all games at home on weekends, Friday, Saturday.

Yeah.

Which is cool for those fans. Right. And then Yankees fans, we got to, we got to do Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

The, um, yeah, exactly. So exactly. So it is a weird week.

You're right, because it does, it almost feels like a, not intentionally, because it's not supposed to be like this, but it's like the media week before the Super Bowl, you know, where, where they're all lining up and they're, that's not what this is. That's not what it's supposed to be. They're just, you know, they go up there and talk a little bit, but it's not, uh, I feel, I feel for the reporters that they have to just identify all these different storylines. At least they have Yankees Dodgers to figure that out. Oh, God. This is this is this. If there's any world series, you're going to take five days off for it's Yankees Dodgers. Like if there's five days off again,

I keep going back to last year,

Rangers Diamondbacks,

it's like,

Jesus.

Who? there's any world series you're going to take five days off for it's Yankees Dodgers. Like if there's five days off again, I keep going back to last year, Rangers Diamondbacks, it's like, Jesus. Who cares? If you had a week off between that series, I don't know if anybody would remember that baseball is on. Yeah, they're like, do we wait, we're still going to play this thing? I think it's over. I think the season's over. I don't remember who won. That's what that would have been the line. It was a good setup. It was a good setup. I listened to it and

checked it out. There's some interesting things that came out of that. I thought that we can talk

about today for sure. So I'm glad I'm glad the everybody listening was able to get the perspective

from the Dodgers fan because I think that's that's important to understand where the team is currently, you know, aside from reading what the team and the beat reporters want to put out there, like you're getting more of like that vibe from from what the fans feel. And I think that's a, that's, that's, that's interesting context. So this this is always dangerous i went to the youtube comments
