Hi everyone. Welcome to episode 47 of the Let's Talk yoga podcast. On the show today, I have

Savira Gupta, who comes back for a second time on the show. And Savira and I are talking about

the yamas and ni yamas. And how often we as yoga students, yoga teachers, yoga seekers,

we tend to jump a little too quickly from learning the yamas to start to teaching them

and how to actually pause and really learn to live the yamas.

And we're breaking this up into two conversations.

This is part one where we will be focusing a little more on laying the foundation

and talking about the yamas themselves.

And then we'll do a part two, which will be a little more

Now, in today's episode, Savira shares a lot of personal stories about how she has been living

her yamas.

And we talk about all the five yamas and how they all are interdependent on each

other, they're intertwined. We talk about Ahimsa and Satya and then we get to Aastaya and

Brahmhacharya and we address the confusion around Brahmhacharya and A Parigraha and just really the how fundamental
