Hey there, kids, we're taking a little break over the festive season, but to keep you entertained,

today we're bringing you one of the stories we produced for our beloved Patreon supporters without whom we could not keep BKFK going.

So here we go.

Today's story especially for you is about a very special woman. I'll tell you a bit about her before we get on with the story.

Many, many years ago, in a land called Egypt, there lived a remarkable queen named Cleopatra.

Cleopatra was not just any queen.

She was known for her beauty,

intelligence, and her cleverness.

She became queen when she was just 18 years old.

She ruled over Egypt,

the land of pyramids,

pharaohs, and the mighty Nile River. A pharaoh, by the way, is the old Egyptian name for a king.

Cliopatra was determined to be a great queen and do what was best for her people.

One of the most famous stories about Cliopatra is her meeting with a powerful Roman leader

named Julius Caesar. Maybe you've heard of him. He's very famous. Cleopatra needed his help to keep

Egypt safe from enemies. She needed to come up with a clever plan to meet Caesar because a lot of very powerful people wanted to make sure that she didn't meet him.

She had herself rolled up in a big rug, and her servants carried her to Caesar.

When they unrolled the rug, Cliopatra was revealed, and Caesar was amazed by her and agreed to help her.

Cliopatra and Caesar became friends and together they ruled over Egypt.

Everything went well until Caesar died.

But soon another Roman leader named Mark Antony came to Egypt. He also fell in love with Cleopatra and they too became friends.

They had grand celebrations and enjoyed life together which made some people in Rome angry.
