Welcome to Caffaro Cast everyone. I'm on here solo today Frank is with his fiance

in Florida for some reason. So I actually get to have the pleasure of interviewing a guy that

I've looked up to for quite some time even though he doesn't know that. Wyman Minzer from the

great state of Texas. What's going on man? Oh it's just we just got a little shower yesterday after

big wind storm so everything's looking pretty pretty nice today. So I had heard about you from a

lot of people up in the Payne handle all the way down to you know the Davis Mountains your name

had popped up. One of the first things was you were the official photographer for the state of

Texas is that correct? Yeah yeah it's kind of a title type thing but I was awarded that in 1997

by the legislature and the governor George W. Bush at the time. Gotcha. So what did that entail

if they needed a photograph of something they just used your photos or? No it's more symbolic.

I mean it's you know it's I think probably the reason that they it's actually a state

representative that got its started and then I like a senator got a hold of it and then they

got the ball rolling is because I my work pretty well covers all aspects of Texas from history to

landscape, skype, to you know lifestyle a little bit of everything it more more less identifies

what Texas is all about. A lot of the power of Christmas will just specialize in one thing landscape

or you know people or sports but I've done a little bit of it of it all. Gotcha. So with that title

and I kind of figured it was that just looking through your your photos you you kind of cover

a little bit of everything on there. Uh-huh. Did you get to I mean what are some of the the more

I guess things that are maybe near and dear to your heart that you've gotten to photograph and

in Texas anything where some people tell me the alamo or they'll go photograph the river walk.

What uh, any for you? Yeah well I'm sure you're clear of that kind of stuff. I mean I have photographs

to alamo and I have photographs to river walk but that's more more or less you know completing a job

...
