Hi guys, I'm Adam Wilborn from What Culture. He's Michael Hanflut from What Culture and we're here to tell you what went down on night one of WrestleMania 42 Hanfler. I've got to say, I went into the show with very low expectations, but I had a good time. Yeah, same. You know, we try to say, I know, you can like think every show's going to be the best show ever, but it was really hard to say that and mean it when it came at WrestleMania night one. I think like we kind of saw straight away how the cards were laid out and one show felt vastly superior to the other. But an over delivery in pretty much every regard like I don't... Especially when we get to that, yeah. A match of two halves, but the second half did a lot of the heavy lifting. And yeah, just in general, I think that's going to be the theme, not just of this review,

but of a lot of the conversation coming out of WrestleMania. Well, some of the conversation coming out of WrestleMania night one is just how, like, things that weren't necessarily, like, bubbling hot that much beforehand, really, like, boiled over in a good way on the night. So we start the night off with John Siener with his dad jog down to the ring.

Welcome us to WrestleMania and we kick things off with the three on three match. It was the

USOs and LA Knight versus the vision and I show speed. A bit of the theme of certain bits of

this card. A short match than I anticipated. I've got to be honest, it started immediately with

USOS super kicking the vision so LA Knight could just get his hands on ice show speed.

Speed didn't have many spots to do, I'll be perfectly honest,

but he did hit a nice Rana towards the end and then accidentally took out Logan

Paul, Austin Theory, flipped his biscuit of this and really got into it with him and

seemingly teased attacking his

own partner regardless in amongst all this i think theory got sent into speed and in the end

we got an LA night beat FT to Austin Theory for the one two three postmatch logan paul chinned

i show speed but the baby faces made the save and speed made up for everything that's gone before basically

by uh putting logan paul through an announce table but via a splash not just off the top route but the

the the the turnbuckle or the what's it called the pillar next to the next to the turnbuckle basically

a great visual and a fun way to start the night yeah for like a match that's alienated a lot of traditionalists, because of the inclusion of I show speed, because of the very idea of the vision, quite honestly, and the fact that like Jay Uso remains, a source of some debate and consternation, this was a bit of an old school style pay-per-view opener. Do you know what I mean? The goodies beating the baddies in a relatively quick and spry out, like match time-wise at least.

Yeah, like not too heavy, just a nice sort of flow to it. And then with Ice Show Speed, having done his two or three flashy things, in the opening sort of first couple of minutes, He was then pretty much removed from the match as a way to tell the story that he wasn't really responsible for any of the blame other than when the finish went wrong.

The goodies decided to do the right thing even though I show speed annoyed him on the way, help him out. You get a big spot, a very crowd pleasing dive as well. If you haven't watched WrestleMania and you're watching this, you know, so that you don't have to, that would be one of things I would actually go back and recommend. He gets the spot on. Like it reminded you of Logan Paul for the first time where like, oh, he's a bit of a natural to this. I show speed, fulfilled the brief, understood the assignment, all those cliches. And yeah, like, I don't know, this put me in a good, There was a good tone setter for the night as well,
