Tonight was the return of John Sina and Cody Rhodes to Smackdown. We have not seen John Sina on this show in many, many weeks. I don't even remember the last time, honestly, before tonight that we had a John Sina appearance here on Smackdown. And Cody Rhodes has not been seen on Smackdown since WrestleMania 41, whatever that last Smackdown was.

0:23.8

So it's been a while.

0:24.7

But both men were on Saturday night's main event this past weekend to set up the big tag team match for money in the bank next weekend,

0:33.1

which is going to have John Sina and Logan Paul as tag team partners taking on Cody Rhodes and Jay Uso.

0:39.2

And all four men were in the closing segment here on this show tonight in a building that they said was sold out and looked packed and had over 14,600 people.

0:53.6

But for large chunks of this show and many of the matches on this show, you may well have had 2,000.

1:17.1

nothing else, the man knows how to get heat. And they even teased at the very end of the show,

1:23.5

there was a little tease of some dissension between Sina and Logan, you know, which we'll get into when we get to that part of the segment.

1:30.8

It's very interesting because when Sina's name was brought up, you could hear cheers from the crowd tonight.

1:36.2

And even when he came out, you know, it's a mixed reaction, but there were a lot of favorable cheers and responses from the crowd.

1:45.1

And it's clear to see what they're doing here, which is that they are taking the most

1:49.4

hated man, or one of the most hated men in WWE and Logan Paul.

1:54.0

And they're associating him.

1:55.2

They're tying him in with John Cena to ensure that in Cody's big comeback match,

1:59.9

the reaction is exactly what they wanted to be,

2:02.6

which is not to say that they have no faith whatsoever in Cody coming back that the crowds

2:07.9

are not going to be on his side or anything like that, but we started as we got closer to
