I have never asked my guests this question, but I do believe I already know the answer,

and I'm sure he had no idea when he was first hired by the WWF,

WWE back in the mid-80s.

Just what an incredible ride he was in for.

Not only was he very well known as a referee during the golden era, as we always refer to it,

he also looked after and was very close to one of the largest personalities in the history of professional wrestling, Andre the Giant.
