Hello and welcome to the raw preview. I'm Michael Amflit from What Culture. I'm joined by Adam Nicholas from What Culture and absolutely nobody else. What's that about? I thought I was the part-timer. Anyway, it's a solo raw preview with Nicholas to help me out navigating through this. I'll just run through what's on the docket today. The backlash review, if you want to check that out, is available wherever you get your podcast, I'm not going to do Wilborn's intro spiel. But you know the normal stuff we cover? Wilborn's going to be off this week, but me and Sid will be in with all the usual raw Smackdown, NXT and AEW stuff. And I guess starting with the big headline coming out of backlash is Roman Reigns. He defeated Jacob Fatu in the main event. he kind of got through by the skin of his teeth when Jacob Fatu had the tong and death grip on, for those that didn't see it, squashed Roman Raines up against the corner. Roman grabbed for a turnbuckle, which he pulled off. He grabbed for a referee, which he kind of distracted. Then Jacob hit the steel. Got distracted long enough to get the spear and Roman got the win.

Now, as a result of that, it was something they alluded to in the build that tonight, Jacob Fatu must acknowledge Roman reigns.

This was driven forward a little bit more by some fallout stuff that took place after the fact.

Basically, Jacob Fatu laying hands on WWA officials and a big rage

after the fact resulted in Adam Pearce exclaiming that he will follow the rules that were

laid out by Roman Reins and WWE and tonight take part in an acknowledgement ceremony. Roman

Raines, as he was leaving, selling the throat, all that kind of stuff said, this is why we should

have never let Jacob in this company.

Nicholas, first of all, did any of backlash bleed through into your timeline over the weekend?

And did you have any thoughts potentially about Jacob Fatu?

Acknowledging Roman Raines are at least now falling in line

based on the kind of stuff they've been,

the dialogue that had happened since WrestleMania.

This hasn't necessarily tutel into my purview, but I was looking as I do in the WWWA gallery for some dumbness and yeah Jacob Faddo haven't to acknowledge him I think that was obviously the thing laid out wasn't it we were all curious if they were going to pick that back up or not because it was like the first promo, wasn't it? And then they just didn't mention it again.
