All right, we're kicking this one off. We're talking about Asca because her story is just bleeding into today after, you started on Saturday, really, with her posting Frank Sinatra on my way before backlash where she faced Eos. Sky, which is a song about surf determination and

and doing, shockingly, it's a song about doing things your way. She then wrestled E.O. Sky on

backlash. She lost. They hugged in the ring. Very emotional. Aska was crying. She appeared

to wave goodbye as she left. It was all very farewell. A bunch of wrestlers then went on to various platforms, including Bailey, Charlotte

Flair, Shinsky Nakamura and EO herself, and posted either just like nice photos of Aska

or what read like farewell messages in a lot of cases.

This has created a lot of speculation as to what the heck is going on with ASCA.

And the reports are conflicting, is the best I can tell you. We have two of them for you here to cover.

The first one is from Dave Meltzer, who says that ASCA is effectively semi-retired after backlash.

He said, the story I heard is that she is semi-retired. I haven't really gotten the exact meaning of what semi-retired means, but I guess people were wishing her goodbye and things like that backstage. He says he doesn't know if she's going back to Japan and still going to be wrestling or whatever, or if she's just going to do bits and pieces here and there,

but he has been told that she is semi-retired, which, I mean, opens the door to not do anything.

It also opens the door to keep doing stuff.

So semi-retired sounds like a nice place to be for someone who's been wrestling for like 20-odd years.

Fife will have a more substantial update. Basically, apparently backstage among the locker room, among the wrestlers and the people who are there,

they don't know what's going on, a lot of them.

It's a mystery to them.

Like evolution, it's a mystery.

And to a number of people in the creative process,

they weren't sure if this was actually a good buy.

One person does not believe that Aska has wrestled her final match, but that wouldn't clash with semi-retired, because semi-retired does not mean fully retired, obviously.

According to Fifele, and her contract state is she signed a long-term deal with WWW in 2024.

Now they don't know how long that went but at that point five years was the norm.
