Raw was in Winnipeg tonight. They were north of the border. Becky Lynch and Trish

Stratis, who were not part of the Summerslam card this year, had a match tonight.

They had their match on television instead. And it looked like they were primed to

blow off this view. There's been going on now for several months.

Originally I thought they were gonna blow it off at Summerslam. I thought that

was the whole reason that Trish came back. So they did the match tonight and not

only did they not blow this view off. And because of that it did not get the

main event spot. But they had Becky and Trish go out there in front of a dead

crowd. And here's the thing about this. This was not a Becky and Trish thing

where they killed the crowd. This was the story of the entire show. This was a

crowd so dead that they started shoveling dirt on top of them. Very surprising for

a Canadian crowd. And I know we had a couple of people message me earlier saying

they were gonna be at the show. I would love to hear from these people as far as how

it was in the building to be there live. It was watching on television. This was just

fucking brutal. Even the parts of the show that I didn't really think were that bad.

It was incredible how quiet this crowd was for large swaths of the entire show. And

this has not really been an issue with WWE shows recently. There have been a lot of hot

crowds. They're selling out almost pretty much everywhere they go. I don't know what it

was. I was having flashbacks to Corpus Christi. I didn't think that Winnipeg was the Corpus

Christi of the North. But it might just be. But that's what Becky and Trish got tonight.

Not only did they not get the main event spot because they were going to a non finish.

But they got to wrestle basically in stun silence in a match that was very rough in spots.
