Raw tonight was at the Norfolk Scope, the very same place where many years ago DX drove

their Jeep down the ramp, tried to drive their Jeep into the building to invade WCW Monday

Nightrobe.

With an even livelier crowd tonight than the one they had on Saturday at Survivor Series,

this crowd was amped up tonight here for this show.

And what they got tonight was one of the best first hours of Raw of the entire year.

This was a commercial free first hour of Monday Nightrobe, I'm not sure why, I'm not sure,

you know, usually when they do this gimmick, there's a reason for it.

I don't know why Raw was commercial free for the first hour tonight, but you quickly

realize when you get that commercial free first hour, why you don't want to have it

every single week, it sounds great in theory and practice.

When you hit the second and third hour, boy do you pay the price.

They make up for all those lost commercials in those last two hours, so as nice as it

is sometimes, you definitely do not want to have a commercial free hour every single week.

Another thing about the show tonight, a lot of audience participation tonight.

We saw it in the Becky Lynch segment and the opening segment of the show when she went

up into the crowd to talk to Bill or Bob or whoever it was and, you know, interact with

the fans and we saw it later on in the show too, it dexterloom is handing out $100 bills.

He was handing out sea notes to people in the front row, mostly little kids.

So definitely more audience interaction than usual on the show here tonight.

I thought the show fell off a lot in the second and third hour until that main event.
