Hello everyone, Kirk Hamilton here, more specifically, 2022 Kirk Hamilton coming to you a year

in change after I initially recorded the episode that you're about to listen to.

It's July 2022 and I am taking the month off from making new episodes of Strong Songs,

but I wanted to keep updating the Strong Songs feed, so I'm going to be sharing a few things

throughout the month, some older stuff, some things that some of you may not have heard,

and I wanted to start with who else but the great Kate Bush.

Now Kate Bush has gotten very popular over the last month or so, thanks to the Netflix

show Stranger Things, it features her song Running Up That Hill, a deal with God during

a pretty show stopping sequence midway through the new season of that show that's come out

really a pretty incredible sequence, maybe the best thing that show has ever done.

So it's been really nice to watch the world reawaken to the greatness of Kate Bush and

enjoy her music in a whole new way, and I thought it would be fun to take an episode that

I made last year about her breakout song Weathering Heights from 1978, from her 1978 album The

Kick Inside, and bump it up in the feed for any of you who haven't listened to it or maybe

for some of you who did listen to it last year, but could listen again because there's

a lot of music in this song and it might be enjoyable to listen to this episode for a second

time.
