Tis the season, as Iro was talking about in the break, meetings and complaints.

And some complaints resonate and register more than others.

But put this latest complaint in that category, Mr. Weintrave.

Sam, this is a good one, okay?

This one's a really good one.

So Arkansas Athletic Director Hunter Eurecicic, who also happens to be the chairman of the 13 member CFP committee. He's put out a statement yesterday that he is extremely concerned and displeased with the scheduling of their second and third games of the season. He talks about it's a clear neglect for the well-being of college athletes.

The focus must be on the well-being of the game's participants, not the bottom line of our media partner.

So what he's complaining about is that Arkansas's second game, they're playing at Utah on September 12th,

has been announced as a 915 central time for Arkansas.

So a 10.15 Eastern.

But what's that?

7.15 or 8.15 at Utah time.

So pretty normal game time.

And then they play a noon Eastern time game against Georgia the following Saturday.

And he's complaining about basically losing an entire day of coming back.

Sam, I'm trying to figure out, because this is not simply a

competitive disadvantage, it is a genuine welfare issue for the young men who represent our

program and contribute greatly to the bottom line of our television partners.
