Spiritual peace, two words you would think go together all the time, but that is not always the case.

The important words of our guest Sierra Jones, however, are like a beacon of light in the stormy, soupy, watery seas of social media.

Sierra is a theologian who has deconstructed but maintained her faith and hopes to bring a more healthy and inclusive space to American church culture.

We speak with her about horizontal versus vertical morality and how that may shape the decisions

in moral centers of members of high control groups like the LDS Church, as well as how racism

can become an underlying central virtue at the pulpit.

and I got to tell you it is hard to like I felt my blood pressure just spiking and I just can't

understand how people can listen to that and think like feel spiritual

about it or feel like healing or feel like something in their soul.

The guy, it's so foreign to me.

So I have a hard time.

Like how do people get to that point?
