For today's story, we're going to take a deep dive into a world so mysterious that only

an insider can truly comprehend its dangers.

And taking us on this journey is Jen asked you a former state trooper with a commonwealth

of Virginia.

It's a tomboy as always adventurous, as always wanting to do things, always wanting to stay active.

You know, for some of our law enforcement interviewees, they always knew from the time they were

young, that was the career path they hoped to achieve.

But for Jen, that wasn't the case.

Going through school, I got out, was a degree in therapeutic recreation, and I started working

in a nursing home, and I loved it, but I kept wanting to do something more.

And this is going to sound so corny, but I really did need to be a part of something bigger

than me, where my job wasn't the same sitting behind a desk every day, and where what I was doing

had some sort of impact.

Like many young people started out of their lives, she sought the advice of someone she had

always looked up to.

Talked to a person I always talked to, my dad.
