Summary

A return trip to Holbrook, Arizona, brings one longtime listener back to an old haunt—literally. While revisiting the historic jailhouse where he used to perform reenactments, he stumbles across something he never noticed before: a sinister symbol scrawled in the far back cell. With graffiti ranging from threatening messages to demonic drawings, this jail—site of Holbrook’s first and only hanging has always felt off. But the discovery of a star-in-circle pictogram leads him to believe something darker may have been unleashed. Despite warning the caretaker, he’s brushed off. But as a sensitive to the paranormal, he knows better—some things written in walls shouldn’t be ignored.

0:29.6	Hey, Tony, this is Joseph Skett. I have listened to your shows for years now. I've also, if you remember, I've also called in a few of my stories about my hometown of
0:45.2	Sligman, Arizona, and of Holbrook, Arizona, where I also lived.
0:51.5	And for this Halloween season coming up, I had calling in for about a story that I had a chance
1:05.3	to go back to Holbrook, Arizona.
1:08.6	And I was touring the old spots I used to hang out at as a real Old West reenactors group.
1:21.6	And one of my spots I wanted to tour was the old jailhouse.
1:29.0	And even then it was creepy and, you know, back then, you know, doing the tours and everything
1:35.6	and, you know, figuring out, you know, by myself, figure out why, you know, they're so
1:43.2	haunted and everything. And I realized something that... I figured out why, you know, they're so haunted in their thing.
1:44.6	And I realized something that, you know, down, you know, in the old jail, you know, jail has been used since, you know, 1800s and was a site of the first hanging in there in Holbrook's history and only hanging.
2:06.5	A lot of people, a lot of criminals were locked up and a lot of criminals also, you know,
2:13.7	graffiti on the wall saying, you know, you know, I will kill you
2:21.3	and you know, all this and everything and, and as, you know, drawing, you know, weird pictures
2:31.4	and some of them, some of them have on a devil on one of the walls.
2:37.3	And as you keep going back,
2:40.8	I didn't realize this until I went further back,
2:45.0	was I believe I know why that they're so haunted
2:48.9	is when I did the tour, I never realized until now,
2:54.2	somebody end up drawing a pictogram, you know, the circle with a star in it, you know,
