In today's show, I'm talking to Shane Miller about writing beginnings, what you need in the

beginning of your novel, so your reader wants to read on or buy or borrow your book.

We also talk about what it takes

to make a success of your books as Shane came storming out of the gate earlier this year

with rapid releasing a number of fiction and nonfiction books. And in my recent survey,

which is full of good ideas for what you want to know, many people asked to

hear from newer authors, because obviously I started like a long time ago now. And so people

wanted to hear from newer authors how they're managing rather than just hearing from the more
