We're taking a break from coaches and terminology to instead talk about America's team, question mark.

Certainly Hulu's team.

We're talking, Rexum.

All that good stuff about our favorite Welsh football club that isn't Swansea or Cardiff.

Graham Ruthven, thank you for being here. Why are we talking about Wrexham at this point?

So I guess there's two reasons we're doing this. One is that Rexum, as we're recording, America's team, as I think we're legally obligated to call them.

That's a direct quote from Rob Mack, by the way.

Also legally obligated to call him Rob Mack now. Everything's changed. But one of the reasons we are,

we're doing this right now is as we're recording, Rexham are really peaking towards the end

of the season. They're in the hunt for promotion again. That would be a fourth promotion in the four years. They're seventh in the championship. Obviously, sixth gets you into the playoffs. And they're on a serious FA Cup run. They've beaten Nottingham Forrest and Ipswich and now they have Chelsea in the fifth round. So we are going to, whether we like it or not, we're going to see more of Wrexham over the next few weeks and possibly months and maybe even into next season if they're in the Premier League by that time. And also the other reason is that we make passing references to Wrexham quite a lot on the main feed on Total Soccer Show. And I kind of, I really hate it, Taylor, when I feel like I've missed out on the genesis of something, like people will talk about it and it's moved on to such an extent that it's difficult to like get back to the start of a story. So there may be, I'm fully aware there will be listeners who absolutely are up to date with everything, Rexum. But there may be listeners who have no idea why they're such a fascination with Rexom, why you've just introduced them as America's team, question mark.

And so we thought it'd be a good idea to put all our Wrexom chat into one place

in a 101 episode.

Yes, America's team that are in Wales and half owned by a Canadian America's team.

Granted, how much of this decision was informed by my sending along the clip of Ryan Reynolds reacting to the draw and being very snarky about it? My being very snarky about that video. I mean, that might have been the subconscious catalyst, yes, was that video of Rexham being drawn against Chelsea in the FACC Cup, as I mentioned that, so they've gotten the

fifth round, excuse me. And Ryan Reynolds just happens to be in the room with Hugh Jackman.

Of course. Because, of course, all your pals are A-listers.

What draws are and how it works. Hugh Jackman did, less so the owner of Wrexham.

So, let's go back to the beginning and talk about how this came to be, as the documentary
