Hi, everyone. This is your host, Kelly, from the Storytellers Live team. On each episode,

you'll hear a different woman share her story of God's transforming love. These stories are recorded

in a live setting at weekly local gatherings, where we're aiming to build community through sharing,

connecting, and encouraging one another.

Most importantly, these stories reveal the faithfulness of God and how he can take what's

ordinary and broken and exchange it for extraordinary and redeemed.

Today's story is shared by Stacy.

When our kids were young, her husband received a cancer diagnosis,

and she discovered the importance of finding God in each moment, which is not always easy

or natural, instead of trying to barrel through every circumstance and tackle the challenges

all in her own, which was her nature. I loved her reminder of how much it takes off of us when we rely on him.

That difficult season also helps Stacy trade her lifelong need for perfection

for a desire to see his will play out in her life,

regardless of how messy or difficult or different it might look.

The cancer journey is a big part of Stacy's story,
