Hi, everyone. This is your host, Kelly, from the Storytellers Live team. On each episode, you'll hear a different woman share her story of God's transforming love. These stories are recorded in a live setting at weekly local gatherings, where we're aiming to build community through sharing, connecting, and encouraging

one another.

Most importantly, these stories reveal the faithfulness of God and how he can take what's

ordinary and broken and exchange it for extraordinary and redeemed.

Today our storyteller is Jessica, and many of the storytellers you've heard on this podcast grew up in church, many becoming believers early on in their lives.

And I would say the vast majority grew up here in the South.

But Jessica experienced a very different upbringing, and I think that makes her story stand out from some of the others.

But like most of us, she had a deep desire to be

known, to have a place to belong. We all have that longing to find our people, our tribe.

Jessica shares how she thought she'd finally found her identity and her community as an

army wife until suddenly she was an army widow.

This story involves sorrow, but it also is a beautiful love story, with details woven

throughout it that could only have been orchestrated by a higher power.

And when Jessica discovered God and his word and realized that she was completely and totally known by the creator of the universe.

Everything changed for her.

This is a story that had me hooked on every word that was spoken.

And I almost envision like a movie playing out in my mind.

It's just, it's beautiful.
