From trauma in her teen years to a cancer diagnosis later in life, Nicole had repeatedly wrestled with the goodness of God in the midst of her suffering. 0:43.0	by my friend and co-host, Crystal. Hi Crystal. Hey Shelby. And with us today we also have Nicole,
0:48.9	Jacob's Meyer. Hi Nicole. Hello. Thank you so much for having me. Yeah, we're really glad to have
0:54.0	you here. Nicole and I think that all of you listening will be really glad that you listen to
0:58.9	this conversation as well. Nicole is really open about sharing her story including the difficulties
1:05.4	that she has endured and how she questioned God at times as a result of her suffering. Which I think
1:11.2	if we're honest is something that we all struggle with at times yet we rarely talk about. And I
1:16.4	love what you said about your recent book, Take Back Your Joy. Nicole, you said that you wrote this book
1:21.1	to equip people to handle their darkest moments. And you know, we think about our listeners a lot
1:27.0	and we think about how we can equip them as disciples in the Word and that includes equipping them
1:31.8	with truth and tools that will help them walk through those really, really difficult seasons that
1:36.2	we all face. And so some of you listening may be walking through a dark season right now or some
1:42.0	of you might hear this episode and you might remember something in it that you can call back to
1:47.2	mind when you do walk through a dark season in the future. And so we're really glad to have

2:02.5	your current season of life. Yes, so I have four little kiddos, eight, six, four, and two.
