So good to be with you tonight in one of the greatest cities in the entire world with some of the greatest people in the entire world. My

high honor to be here tonight. I have such just major admiration and respect, love

for my friend, Pastor Judah Smith,

he is an incredible human being

and in my opinion, one of the greatest communicators on the planet.

So I'm sorry you're stuck with me tonight.

But it's really, really good to be here with you

and to share some things that are on my heart. So there's a passage of

scripture. I want to read and I want to use it kind of as a launching pad to

leap into our time together tonight. It's found in the book of

Genesis chapter number 32. It's part of a story about a very influential biblical character named Jacob.

And so in chapter 32, verse 24, we pick up a very significant part of his life that I want to use as a teaching tool for us tonight.

It says in verse 24, so Jacob was left alone and

a man wrestled with him till daybreak. When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of

Jacob's hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. Then the man said, let me go for its daybreak. But Jacob replied,

I will not let you go unless you bless me.

The man asked him, what's your name?

Jacob, he answered. Then the man said,

your name will no longer be Jacob.

But Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.

I want to stop reading there and I want to talk from this topic in our time together tonight wrestling until you win.
