The weather yesterday turned out exactly like the forecasters predicted. They were forecasting a beautifully sunny day with mild

temperatures and that's what we got. A little breezy earlier in the day. As the afternoon progressed,

the winds died down, the temperature picked up. Eva and I took advantage of that. Nice long walk

through town and it was one of those

after the clouds and the rain that we've had here for a while. It was one of those

afternoons that caused us both to go, ah, it was nice.

And today looks like it might be more of the same.

and it is a beautiful morning for a walk,

and I hope where you are, the weather is equally to your liking. Kaiser Permanente is a massive healthcare provider in the United States.

They looked at patient records, 194,000, actually more than 194,000 adult patients between January 2020 and May 2021, patients who had COVID.

And they assess their activity levels using two questions that they have used since, I think,

2008, 2009. Those two questions, number one, on average, how many days per week do you engage in moderate,

distrenuous exercise, like a brisk walk? And the second question, how many minutes do you engage

in exercise at this level? And then they analyzed all this data and discovered something pretty remarkable,
