Well, over at our friend Instapunit, there's an article that says,

Radical Islamists raised $3 million to buy Scottish Island for a new homeland.

I don't care about that at all.

I do have a question, though.

It raises an interesting thought experiment, so let's talk about that.

And gentlemen, this is something I've actually given a fair amount of thought to on and off over the years, especially as things seem to be going downwards,

and we seem to be losing so many of our freedoms and our ability to do what we want to,

when we want to.

I've actually given some serious thought to the idea,

and I wanted to discuss with you,

the idea that is it possible to buy sovereignty and create a country that is freer than

America is today? In other words, create a country with a government that fit back in the box

that our government originally came in. And I'm not the only person to be thinking about this.

The great thing about America has always been that America was always the land of freedom

that people in oppressed countries could go to in order to be left alone.

And it seems like every day that goes by in America, we get let alone less and less and less and less.

So my question to both of you is, it's kind of a two-part question.

We'll start with you, Steve.
