Hello everybody. Welcome back to I'll read what she's reading. I'm Reggie. I'm

Michaela and I'm Kennedy. Today we're going to be discussing our books that we've read in the past

and asking each other, would you read it again? And the fun part about this

little test is that we don't know what books are going to be thrown at us. So we've gone through

each other's goodreads. And I'm going to, I've picked like a random book from Kennedy's

goodreads and I'm going to ask her if she would read it again.

And if she were to read it now instead of in the past, if her rating would be different.

And I think this might stir up some interesting conversation.

So should we just jump right on into it?

Let's do it. Um, Michaela, let's have you start with

one of your picks for Kennedy. For Kennedy? I was giggling. Not that I think they're, I don't think

they're super outlandish, but I'm just genuinely curious. These have been questions that have been harboring on my mind for a long time. Just kidding. Not the last hour. The first one is Dance of Thieves. Ooh. By. Mary Pearson. Yes. You want to know what's funny is I always said that Akitar was the first fantasy book that I read, but it's actually that. Yeah. Oh. That was the first fantasy book I ever read. I remember where I was when I read it and I would 100% reread it. Do you think you would like it as much as you didn't then? I think I rated it four stars, if I'm remembering correctly. I also remember the end of that book. I chucked my book across the room. It has such a good ending. Yeah. I think I would rate it very similarly now. Yeah. Just remembering

the plot and how I don't feel like it's super romanticcy trope heavy, like the romantic

books I've been reading lately. So I think I would really enjoy it. It's funny because I actually was thinking about rereading it a few weeks ago. Really? Just to see if I liked it as much. But a part of me also kind of wants to read the series you're supposed to read before you read that one. The Kiss of Deception. Have you read that? No. I have them. Okay. A part of party wants to read that before I go back and hang out with

Jace and Kauzy again. See, I remember both of their names. Like, I remember a lot from

that, but shackled together through the wilderness, enemies to lovers, true enemies to lovers.

Yeah. If I remember correctly. Yeah, I would 100% reread it, and I think I would write it very similarly. All right. Have you read that? Yeah. Oh. Yeah. I love that book. I think I would almost rate it higher if I read it now. I think I kind of read it at a bad time. What did you read it? I think three stars. Yeah, I remember reading it on a plane and it was really hard for me to get into

originally because it was the first fantasy book I read. Yeah, the beginning is kind of slower.

Mm-hmm. When did you get into it? And I've heard if you've read the other series before,

it's really easy to get into because you already have been in the world.

But great pick. I have such a fond little attachment to those books. I also think they're beautiful.

Yeah. They're so pretty. I like the covers a lot. And it's only two books, right? Yeah. So yeah.
