Genesis chapter 24, verse 26,

The man bowed his head and worshipped the Lord.

I love this verse, especially when you understand the context.

So this is Abraham's servant who has traveled in obedience to Abraham to go and find a wife

for Abraham's son, Isaac.

And he's prayed and he's traveled and he gets to the point where he sees and meets

Rebecca.

And it's clear that this is who God has ordained, orchestrated to marry Isaac.

And as soon as all this starts to come together, the servant just bows his head and worships.

And it goes on the next verse just to bless God for his steadfast love and his faithfulness.

And it just makes me think about all the times when God has specifically answered a prayer in my life or provided in a particular way in my life.

Like, yes, we can all think of times when God didn't answer a prayer the way we were hoping,

or we wanted this and God didn't provide in the way we were necessarily wanting.

But just pause and take notice of the times when God does answer our prayers when God does

provide in a way that only he can.

I'm thinking about something specific that happened just the other day where I was literally praying

something. And two seconds later, I get a call that this had been answered. It was so clearly,

God, and I did. I did this. Genesis 24, 26 just bowed my head and prayed and blessed God and

thank to God. And I just wanted to encourage you to make

sure to be intentional to pause and worship and praise God when he provides in specific ways,

when he answers specific prayers. If we're not careful, we'll pray for things. And then when it
