Hey, Flounder. Yeah, Jello. Let me tell you a quick story.

Earlier this year, my middle son, who is a junior at the University of Alabama,

went from San Diego to Japan and then on to Bangkok,

where he got on a ship to do a semester at sea.

And they pulled into a bunch of ports.

They made their way all the way down around Africa, pulled into a bunch of ports. They made their way all the way down around Africa, pulled

doing a bunch more ports, and ended up in Germany and then spent a little time in

Europe and then flew home. And when he got home, I said to him, you just did something I never did.

And that is go all the way around the world in one trip. Now on all my five

deployments, six if you count one on the ground, I never went all the way around the world.

What about you, Flounder? Have you taken a carrier or airwing or anything all the way around the world?

I tried one year for the millennium when I left the diamondbacks in the Gulf and I tried to make it around the world with a stop in Sydney for the millennium.

But Bupers had their way and didn't make it happen and so I've never done a trip around the world.

I see. Well we should look into maybe the first time airplanes did go all the way around the world.
