While I still enjoy flood instructing in the reserves in Woodby Island,

my 9 to 5 these days is financial advising. At foreign financial, I specialize in helping service members, veterans, and their families with long-term financial planning. I'm a fiduciary,

which means I'm required to act in my client's best interests and I'm not peddling any

particular product. I help my client set financial goals and take the necessary

steps to reach them. Why is it important to set financial goals? So you enjoy the freedom to live

the type of life you want to live, whether that's your lay vacations, buying a home, putting your

children through college or having a comfortable retirement. Military service comes with some great

financial benefits, like the TSP, the A loans, the GI Bill,

and so many more. You just have to know how to utilize them.

Well, while we can figure some things out on your own, what I hear you saying is it's never a bad

idea to have a coach or a mentor in such pursuits. For example, if I wanted to get in shape,
