The good news is Tom Daly is going to deliver Channel 4's alternative Christmas message. They make

out of such a big deal nowadays. Tom Daly is a swimmer who happens to be gay and that's the only

reason they're asking him to do this thing. I mean it's a bit of an embarrassment, isn't it? You know,

the alternative Christmas message, what, from a gay point of view? Ooh, deck the holes with

boughs of holly, can you believe it?

It's ridiculous.

You know, he's calling for more inclusivity in gay icons in sport.

He's also called for, I think, some Premier League footballer to come out, but he appreciates

that they come.

But that's all it is, you know, what they're doing is sort of holding up and going, isn't

it great, he's gay? And we're going, yeah, that's fine. But so are thousands and millions of other people.

They're not being asked to do the alternative Christmas message, but perhaps people should start

sort of knitting jumpers. You might stand a very good chance of getting the blooming job.

I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm a big fan of Tom Daly but I just think it's a bit embarrassing really
