He popped in because he lives just down the road to say hello to us, and we thought, since England are playing Sweden on Saturday, we might as well bring him up and ask him a couple of questions.

So, how are you feeling about the game? You sounded pretty confident downstairs.

I'm pretty confident, but I think I're most confident because England is too confident.

Right, I see. Not England as a team, but England as a nation.

Right, okay. What's wrong with confidence, Alexander?

It's good, it's good. I admire it. Sweden doesn't have too much of it. I think we're confident after the games.

I see that's weird. My perception of Sweden is of a nation full of confidence and self-determination.

I have nothing but love for Sweden.

Downstairs you said, your head was saying 1-1, your heart was saying 1-0 Sweden.

Yeah. What do you think of the 1-1? Do you think of the 1-1? Do you think of the penalties?

Yeah, unfortunately, because since Colombia, I think England has gained a lot of self-confidence

and penalties.

Yeah, you win one play with the penalties. Which was a week, week point before. And credit

to Southgate for that. I mean, from what I heard from, from podcasts and reading and everything, he's been doing

a lot of work both psychologically and in training to get that ghost out of the way.

Would you reckon, Alex, do you think penalties is a reasonable show? Yeah, I was just saying

before the game, I think it'll be, before the game, before the podcast,

I think it'll be nervy because I think Sweden know exactly what they want to do.

I think they'll feel like their results to this point show that they can close a game down,

they can frustrate teams.
