It's day 12. It's the end of the Russia-Irogui game.

Russia were robbed. No, they weren't really. I actually didn't watch most of the game,

but I am aware. I mean, the Red Car presumably massively affected the game, although, to be fair, you're a guy who were already turning up before it happened. Yeah, well, you get red cards that are the result of kind of stupidity, and then you get red cards that are two yellows, which are the result of sustained pressure down one side in this

instance, targeting Shmarnikov. So I think it was a red card that was the result of pressure.

So Uruguay were very much on top. They switched to a three at the back. Jimenez was dropped,

and Kakaras, who was playing as a left back, moved across the left-hand central defensive position with Sebastian Coates coming in.

That allowed Diego Lacksault, who plays in Seria to come in as the left wing back, with Nandes playing out on the right.

And Lacksalt looked really good, lots of energy targeting that.

I mean, we've said time and again that it was, or I believed it was just a matter of time

before the pace of the Russian defensive side, particularly the right-hand side, was exposed.

And it hadn't happened up to this point, but it happened today.

So I kind of hung in there, which eventually proved correct.

Terera came in as well, which added nice stability in passing to Uruguay and central midfield.
