As Bill told you, I haven't had a real necessity to take a drink since June the 19th, 1957. And for...

Uh-huh.

I usually catch a couple, and that one leaned over a young person that said,

Oh, she's been sober longer and I've been born.

Now, honey, that's all right. Yeah. For you to say, don't come up here and say've been born. Now, honey, that's all right.

Yeah.

For you to say, don't come up here and say that to me.

My job up here this weekend is to do this out of the 12 and 12, our 12 steps.

It's a beautiful little book, and a lot of people that come in sort of

are reluctant to get into the 12 and 12 because they think they're being, you know, sort of disloyal

to the big book. No. This is Bill explains in the Ford. Bill in conjunction with a lot of others,

in our big book was printed in 1939 and in 1953 this book was published.

Bill and the founders had gotten a lot of questions coming up to New York City and I am glad to be up in New York

York but I want to tell you right now that you know I might just slip into some of our
