0:29.3	Everybody, but for the grace of God and the actions of AA and sponsorship, I've been sober
0:34.3	since September the 15th, 1965, and I'm very pleased about that this morning.
0:39.3	I was having a conversation with Eve a few moments ago.
0:43.3	We were just remarking on how fortunate it is that we're still sober, because when we came in to AA,
0:53.3	Eve came in when she was 37, and I was 33 when I came in to AA, Eve came in when she was 37,
0:55.5	and I was 33 when I came in.
0:58.3	And AA was much different then than it is now.
1:04.1	And there were so many people who came along in those years
1:08.7	in between the time that Eve came in and today,
1:13.1	or that I came in and today,
1:15.5	that have come through our lives and passed on
1:20.7	and didn't remain sober, who gave AA a chance in some fashion,
1:26.2	and weren't able to stick with it.
1:29.5	And the miracle is that somehow or another, we are still sober.
1:33.8	And somehow or another to the people in this room, I want to say to you that, you know,
1:38.7	you're still sober.
