0:39.3	Talking about the thing we call the program of alcoholics anonymous.
0:45.4	Talking about it in the application of our lives on the personal basis so that we could
0:52.0	recover from this hopeless condition of the mind and of the body called alcoholism.
0:58.0	But we know that AA is made up of a lot more than just the 12 steps of alcoholics anonymous.
1:08.7	We know we also have a thing called the traditions.
1:14.1	We know that we also have a thing called the service structure.
1:20.9	And we know those traditions and that service structure, the same as the 12 steps were
1:27.0	left to us as legacies from the first people in alcoholics anonymous, a legacy being something
1:36.9	that has been left to you by people who have gone on before you.
1:43.7	We know that in AA we have a logo which is a circle with a triangle inside the circle.
1:57.3	We don't think that that's there just by accident.
2:04.2	The triangle being supposedly the strongest structure that you can possibly have.
2:12.6	And Bill placed his triangle inside that circle and there he put the three legacies of alcoholics anonymous.
2:23.1	On the bottom of that triangle we have the first legacy called recovery.
2:34.2	And we know that that legacy was given to us in 1939 in the big book Alcoholics Anonymous,
