So what I'm going to be doing is a workshop on emotional sobriety.

And I'm going to give you a little background of how this started. Well, first let me say this.

I'm probably going to talk for approximately two hours and if you get tired or you're done before I'm done you just feel free because I'm not going to break or any of that

kind of stuff and I may not go a whole two hours but it'll be somewhere in there, okay?

I'm just going to kind of tell you how this workshop began.

I've been doing this workshop since 1990.

In 1989, I spoke in Winnipeg, and they gave me the book, Language of the Heart.

And I picked up that book, since they were so kind to give it to me

I picked up that book and read it and it's a fabulous book if you're not familiar with

language of the heart it's Bill W.'s writings to the grapevine. And in there, caught my eye because I am a person who has suffered depression in and out of the rooms of alcoholics anonymous.
