of alon i want to tell you i'm no expert at this thing and I don't do it all the time.

But there have been a few things that we've learned on the program that work, at least for us.

In the beginning, I used to try to get Paul to talk, and it was always a fiasco.

He didn't want to talk, and he didn't like to hear what I had to say. And so finally,

before we came to the program, I had given up. So when he started going to AA and I was going

with him, we would ride from Anaheim down to Laguna Beach, which took about 35, 40 minutes.

And for the first time in my life, I was able to be in the car with Paul and not talk.

Because before, I used to ask him questions, which made him mad.

And I never could understand why.

But anyway, and then we would go to speaker meetings and on the way home we'd talk about what the

speaker said and that's the way our communication started after we were around about two years I think

we were able to tell each other how we felt rather than what we thought where before before, I felt I was always right.

So if I could explain it to Paul well enough, he would agree with me.

Well, that never happened, and I don't expect it to happen.

But today it's okay.

I give them the right to be wrong.

Anyway, maybe we all come in that way feeling that...

Because I always thought of myself as a very logical person, and I had proof because I had

my handwriting analyzed, and the woman told me that.
