Bill, as we noted, you are an accomplished journalist and a chronicle of Wall Street Finance, Politics, University, Scandal.

But this book is something very different. Tell us about Four Friends.

Well, Adam, I intentionally set out to write a very different book.

The first four books that I wrote, One About Lazard, Bear Stearns, Goldman Sachs, and My Alma Mater, Duke in the La Crosc scandal, had an unfortunate byproduct of pissing off a lot of people who I wrote about.

And, you know, that's an important job that journalists do, and I don't have any problem doing that job.
