Thanks Adam, it's great to be here.

So this is your first campaign, correct?

My first campaign covering, yeah, I've lived through a few.

Yes, you've lived through a few of it.

So I wanted to start off with what happens when you have a beat reporter, a slash nonfiction

writer and a documentarian who's suddenly thrown into an election, and I'm sorry,

as somebody who's done this a little bit, not just any election, probably one of the

more insane elections that anybody will ever see, hopefully.

What is that like?

What does that experience?

And why did you decide to become one of us psychopaths at this point in your life and

career?

Yeah, it's a legitimate question with a complicated answer that I'll try to boil down.

This election was an emotional trauma for me, specifically, I quit drinking on an

auguration day, probably forever.
