I wanted to play a clip from Justice Samuel Alito, who this week, while the court is in session, took some time to speak to the Heritage

Foundation, one of the extremist right-wing groups in DC.

Let's play a clip and I want to talk about it on the other side.

It was a grave betrayal of trust by somebody and it was a shock because nothing like that had happened in the past.

So it certainly changed the atmosphere at the court for the remainder of last term.

The leak also made those of us who were thought to be in the majority in support of a ruling Roe and

Casey targets for assassination because it gave people a rational reason to think they could prevent that from happening

by killing one of us.

And we know that a man has been charged with attempting to kill Justice Kavanaugh. It's a pending case so I won't say anything more about that.

So that was Alito talking about the leak and talking about the risk that it created for him and his colleagues.

And what happened with Kavanaugh was a horrific story and it never should have happened and we disavow and

disavow and disdain any level of violence because that's what we would do.

But what Alito omits is the damage and the harm that he has caused to
