Hello and welcome to Wimber Balls, where I, I Katie Balls speak today as Trailblazers.

My guest today was born in New York and comes from renowned British family related to the Roosevelt's.

After attending school back in England, she studied at Newcastle University,

specialising in English literature and history of art.

My guest worked in some of New York's finest galleries before setting up the online arts

magazine Russian art and culture, but then she turned to politics, which runs in the family.

Following two unsuccessful attempts, she was elected as the Conservative MP for Stafford in 2019.

In 2022, she gave birth to her daughter,

an experience which she later spoke publicly about in the Commons due to her traumatic birth.

That speech won her speech of the year at the Spectators Parliamentarian Awards last year,

and she is now involved in a campaign to draw more attention to the problems here.

My guest today is Theo Clark.
