Welcome back to the Word on Fire Show. I'm Brandon Vat DeHost and today for a special

0:11.0

Oscar themed episode of the show we have with us are resident film guru, Bishop Robert

0:16.7

Baron, Bishop Baron Welcome. So that's my latest title. I'm resident film guru.

0:21.6

We're trying to come up with inventive titles for each of the intros.

0:25.0

No, that's okay. We gotta get creative. How are you doing today?

0:28.1

I'm doing well, but we both woke up to sort of disturbing news this morning.

0:32.4

I guess it was a long time coming, but finally today we got the announcement that the great

0:36.9

Billy Graham has passed away. Billy Graham was known as America's pastor.

1:18.0

younger folks don't remember him because he's been kind of out of the public eye for the

1:22.2

past maybe 20 years, but gosh, for most of the 20th century. I mean, he was a major, major

1:28.1

player, maybe the most recognizable Christian in the world. I think a man that was very admired

1:34.0

for his integrity of life. When so many preachers of the gospel got in the trouble or were

1:41.4

compromised in some ways, Billy Graham had this very consistent dedication to the gospel

1:49.6

and moral integrity, et cetera. And I think people really admired him for that. And then

1:53.5

I think for the quality and clarity and simplicity and directness and obvious sincerity of his

1:59.1

preaching. So I'm going to YouTube, you can find all sorts of examples of his preaching
